Charlotte Metro Insurance is an independent agency, which allows us access to more providers. We currently have access to over 100 insurance companies. This allows us to shop a wider range of companies to ensure you the best price and coverage.
Independent or Captive Agent… What’s the difference?
A captive agent works under an agreement that they can only represent one insurance company. Normally these are very large companies that offer a wide variety of insurance products and services. The policies written are the property of the insurance company with the agent providing service, by keeping them up-to-date and submitting any claims that are reported.
An independent agent has agreements with their insurance carriers that allow the agent to represent more than one company at a time. These companies can range from the large insurance carriers that offer a wide range of policies to the specialty insurance carrier that offers a narrow range of policies. The policies written belong to the agent, and they are responsible for keeping them up-to-date and submitting any claims to the company.
We pride ourselves on the personal level of service we provide.
Here at Charlotte Metro Insurance we don’t just have clients, we have friends for life. That is the impression that we strive for with each and everyone we do business with. We will gladly meet with you at a place and time convenient for you to discuss your insurance needs and all available options. We understand the busy lives that most of us live, that’s why we’re happy to meet you at your home, work, a coffee shop or at our office. We’re available when you need us to be, 6 days a week from 7:00 A.M to 9:00 P.M.
We keep in contact.
It is common for health insurance premiums to change from year to year. We’ll contact you prior to renewal after the new rates are released to see if other options need to be explored. If necessary we’ll see if we can find you a better rate with another provider.
We’re the only agent that you’ll ever need when it comes to life, health, long-term care, disability, medicare supplement, and estate planning needs.
